enjoyable for a bit, but why not a milky way - we are in the sky.
Fun Game Play
Way to much waiting... The cut scenes look nice, but in the end they slow down the game and take away.
I'm happy to see this tut as it seems a good way for people to start learning code.
With that said, what about something about stopping the enemies from going off screen?
yeah, that would have been a lot more complex than the tutorial was covering though. thanks for the review.
I like the game. I played it for a while. But there are a good number of problems that should be addressed.
1a) coins appear where you can't get them unless...
1b) you can just fall in an never ending cycle.
2) music starts playing eventually.
3) No explanation of controls means that "bulletTime" isn't found for a while.
4) jumping only sometimes works
There might be others, I'm not sure.
But here are a few things I like so you don't feel like I am just hating on you.
1) bullet time works well and looks cool
2) music is good once it starts going
3) the game is hard but still I try and try again
some recommendations would be
1) add a leaderboard
2) add some instructions
3) make the game a bit easier at first.
thanks for the tips^^
i explained the coin thing on the comment above... lol
i dont know what is up with the music....
oops.... forgot about instructions.... i was in a rush and sloppily put this together
this is a game i started about a year ago, but needed to publish a game so i fixed it up a little but the code was too horrible to fix...
don't use hitTest
I like the concept but hitTest does not work well for non-square objects. I'd go to google and find something that works better.
Fun to Play, Hard to look at
I'm a big fan of tower defense games and I am a fan of yours. It is hard, not impossible like some, but the whole time the game was going I was trying to keep up. So for game play I'd give you like an 8/10. When it comes to graphics though you need some work. I'd look into finding someone to work with. This is my problem too, so please don't think I am just hating.
thanks for the game.
Thanks for your review, yeah, I'll admit that graphics are defiantly not my strong point, practice makes perfect (OK, fine, i suck and I'll never get better >.>) I'm planning on totally re... I'm gonna make it look prettier in future updates. Glad you liked the gameplay.
Add a game and this would be sick!
I must applaud you for this, I wish I could program physics that well. With that said,I wish I had something to do while I was whipping the ragdoll around. It might be hard to think of, but if you can come up with a purpose for playing with this thing, it would be great.
I'm sorry to blam this.
I'd give this thing an 8 for looks. It flows so well and looks great, but in the end I feel this flash, though a good assignment, has not become newgrounds worthy.
With that said though, I'd love to see a game made with this guy. The animation that you made is so cool a simple purpose (like popping bubbles) would be enjoyable.
Ok, it took me a lot of work for me to get this game to work with a macbook but it was worth it. Two things though.
1) I'd make the video feed a bit darker, it was hard to tell where my hands were compared to the ball.
2) put an quick "how to make this work on a mac" into the intro. Most macs have webcams now and it would help people get into these games if they knew how to get it to work.
thanks for the great game.
I liked this game. It was not to difficult to get through but at the same time it frustrated me enough that I thought about cheating.
I do wish it looked better. One thing that really bothers me is games that just seemed thrown together. Maybe next time you make a game you can think about working some good graphics in.
